A Place Called Home is the sixth episode of Season 6 of Dr. Quinn: Medicine Woman and the one hundred twenty-fourth episode of the series.
Dr. Mike has to tell Robert E. and Grace that they are going to lose Anthony.
Meanwhile, Sully is still in hiding and determined to convince the renegade Indians to return to the reservation before there's more violence. When Dr. Mike tells him about the miscarriage, his must find a way to cope with it.

- Story Arc: The Separation, part 8 of 16. Dr. Mike has trouble telling Sully about the miscarriage. Sully reveals to Michaela in To Have and to Hold that after he left her about the news of her miscarriage that he couldn't sleep, and that he left the cave early in the morning and started walking. He tells Michaela that he doesn't know how far or how long he walked to take away the pain. He realizes that there was nothing he could do for himself, and for her. After he stops walking he sits under a tree, and hollers in frustration. During his grief under the tree he sees an oak seedling, and decides to replant it away from the tree in order for the seedling to grow as a memorial to his lost third child.
- Story Arc: Grace and Robert E.’s Grief, part 1 of 7, prologue. Death of Anthony, Brian's best friend. Anthony wins Mrs. Morales essay contest for Parent's Day with his essay "A Place Called Home." After Anthony reads his essay, Anthony later dies. Anthony's funeral marks the death of the first of a number of long recurring characters in the season.
