  • difficulty breathing or rapid breathing

  • swollen glands in neck
  • thick, gray membrane covering the throat and tonsils


  • contact with contaminated personal items like facial tissues
  • inhaling airborne droplets
  • sharing contaminated household items like hand towels(rare)
