Eye for an Eye is the nineteenth episode of Season 4 of Dr. Quinn: Medicine Woman, and the eighty-fifth episode of the series.

Rosemary Hardt, a classmate of Brian and Colleen's wanders into town after missing school. When Dr. Mike examines her, she discovers Rosemary was raped. A drifter (Johnny Reed) is convicted of both raping her, and killing an elderly townsman, and is sentenced to death. The town is divided over whether killing him is the right thing to do or not. Not just the town either, Dr. Mike thinks differently from both Sully and Colleen on the matter.
