Halloween II is the sixth episode of Season 3 of Dr. Quinn: Medicine Woman and the forty-seventh episode of the series.
Brian find a "monster" out in the woods and befriends him (John). Brian convinces him to come home with him, and they learn his disfigurement is the result of a train accident, where he was the only survivor. When Dr. Mike does reconstructive surgery to make his appearance more normal, the town compares her to Dr. Frankenstein.
Information[]
- Dr. Mike reads Frankenstein by Mary Shelly
- Brian dresses up as Frankenstein's monster for Halloween.
- First episode of the train engineer John.
- Arc: Holidays. The second Halloween is celebrated. The next holiday episode is Thanksgiving.
- Anachronism: Near the end of the episode, Dorothy gives Dr. Mike a newspaper article about the train wreck. The title is, "Train Crashed in Rockies, Killing 160." However, some of the small print seems to have been copied from an early 20th century article, with mentions of submarines and President Wilson.
