The Campaign is the twenty-second episode of Season 2 of Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman, and the thirty-ninth episode of the series.
The town decides to elect a mayor and Jake is nominated by Loren. What neither of them expected was for Horace to nominate Dr. Mike, and for her to accept the nomination. As a result, the race becomes a debate over whether women have the right to vote or not, resulting in an agreement between Dr. Mike and Jake that both will do something the other wants (Jake give women the right to vote and Dr. Mike not close the saloon or ban prostitution) if they win.
