The Visitor is the third episode of Season 1 of Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman.
Mrs. Elizabeth Quinn, mother of Dr. Mike, makes an unexpected visit to Colorado Springs. At first, she keeps the same disapproving attitude toward Dr. Mike that she's had for years. Eventually she realizes the mistake she's made. Meanwhile, Dr. Mike is faced with possibly losing the clinic she's opened in the foreclosed boarding house of the late Charlotte Cooper when Jedediah Bancroft, a banker at The First National Bank of Denver comes to town to sell it.
