Change of Heart
If You Love Someone
- Arc: Elections. Type: sheriff. Colorado Springs holds their first sheriff election between Matthew Cooper and Hank Lawson. No vote count is given, but Jake says that Hank lost by more than 30 votes. Matthew is elected the town's second sheriff after Kid Cole was appointed the first sheriff in Law of the Land. The next election that town holds is the second mayoral election in Right or Wrong.
- Matthew has the town council pass an ordinance to forbid anyone from carrying a firearm in town after mistaking and shooting Horace for a thief, and because he doesn't want to admit he made a mistake in being trigger happy. The town's ordinance is done away with in A Matter of Conscience, and supported later Sheriff Daniel Simon.
- one of the people that robbed the Saloon after being shot
- Horace Bing - shot by Matthew
