A type of roundworm infection. It's aquired by eating the larvae in raw or undercooked meat.
Symptoms[]
- abdominal pain
- diarrhrea
- fatigue
- nausea/vomitting
Later symptoms include
- feaver
- headache
- pink eye
- muscle pain/tenderness
- sensitivity to light
- swelling of eyelids/face
- weakness
Risk Factors[]
- improper preperation of food, such as not cooking meat all the way through
- being in a rural area, esp a hog raising area
- eating wild, or other noncommercial meats
